For people who are still searching for answers.

The Systems Physiology Method™

Helping you make sense of complex health problems.

Have you been asking yourself...

"What is wrong with me?"

You wake up exhausted.
Your digestion is off.
Your hormones feel all over the place.

But your blood work keeps coming back "normal."
You've tried different practitioners, different diets, different supplements...
...yet you're still searching for answers.

If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.

What if all of these symptoms were connected?...

What Happens Next?

Here's what happens during your Systems Physiology Case Review™

I review your:

Health history
Timeline
Symptoms
Blood work
Functional testing
Medications
Supplements
Lifestyle
Previous diagnoses

The goal isn't to explain every test. It's to understand the physiology that connects them.

From there, we identify which physiological systems deserve attention first.

Why This Approach Is Different™

Most approaches focus on individual symptoms, diagnoses, or test results, then build a plan around each one.

The Systems Physiology Method™ starts with a different question.

What is your physiology trying to tell us?

Rather than trying to explain every symptom or every laboratory result separately, I look at how your health history, timeline, blood work, functional testing, lifestyle, medications, and previous diagnoses fit together.

The goal isn't to explain every test. The goal is to understand the physiology that connects them.

When those connections become clear, it's easier to identify which physiological systems deserve attention first. Understanding what matters first is often more important than trying to understand everything at once.

Because physiology determines strategy.

Systems Physiology Case Review™

The Systems Physiology Case Review™ is designed to help you finally understand the bigger picture behind your health.

Rather than reviewing each symptom or test in isolation, I organize everything into one clear physiological framework so we can identify which systems deserve attention first.

What You'll Walk Away With:

A comprehensive Systems Physiology Case Review™

A prioritized analysis of your physiological systems

A clear explanation of how your history, symptoms, and testing fit together

A written report outlining the key physiological findings

A personalized review session to walk through the report

Clear priorities for what deserves attention first

Foundational Testing Starts Here

When symptoms don’t make sense, it’s usually because the real problem is upstream.
These are the foundational tools I use to uncover what your body is trying to tell us – so we stop guessing and start solving.

About Me

Dealing with confusing symptoms can feel like a full-time job. Fatigue, bloating, brain fog, hormone issues, poor recovery, and stubborn symptoms can leave people searching for answers while being told “everything looks normal.”

I’m Sandy Rideout, a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP), and I help people uncover what is actually creating the pressure in their system. Instead of chasing symptoms, I look upstream to connect the dots between energy production, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, gut health, hormones, nervous system stress, and the deeper patterns linking them together – because the body does not fail in isolated symptoms. It fails in systems.

I work with stubborn cases like SIBO, IBS, chronic digestive issues, fatigue, brain fog, hormone imbalance, and complex symptoms that do not fit neatly into one diagnosis – especially when the usual approaches have not worked. My focus is not temporary symptom management, but understanding why those symptoms are happening in the first place.

One of my major areas of focus has been methylation – the biochemical pathway involved in energy production, detoxification, neurotransmitters, hormones, and repair. But over time, I realized something even more important:

The health and capacity of the cell regulate methylation.

ATP production, mineral balance, oxygen delivery, inflammation, gut function, and the environment both inside and outside the cell all influence how well these pathways function. That realization changed everything about how I approach root-cause work.

My goal is simple: help people stop guessing, identify the real driver, and build a clear strategy forward.

Why I Do This Work

I’ve never been the type to hand my health over and hope someone else figures it out. Discipline, training, nutrition, and performance were always part of my life. As a bodybuilder, I understood hard work, recovery, and how to push the body.

But when gut issues started showing up, I realized something deeper was wrong. Food stopped working the way it should. Digestion changed. Recovery changed. Energy changed. The body that used to respond stopped responding the same way. That was the wake-up call.

I started asking deeper questions. Not just “what supplement do I take?” but “why is this happening in the first place?” That search pulled me into functional medicine – and changed everything.

The deeper I studied physiology and biochemistry, the clearer it became:
The body does not fail in isolated symptoms. It fails in systems.

Energy production. Blood sugar regulation. Digestion. Detoxification. Hormones. Nervous system stress. Methylation. Recovery. Everything is connected.

What looks like fatigue may be blood sugar instability. What looks like hormone issues may be poor liver handling. What looks like brain fog may be gut-driven inflammation. That is the work I love – helping people stop guessing, understand what their body is trying to tell them, and find the first domino instead of chasing the last symptom.

I work with people who have been told everything looks “normal” while they know something is clearly off. Athletes. High performers. Busy parents. People stuck in chronic symptoms with no real answers.

My job is to connect the dots, identify the pressure, and help rebuild the foundation so the body can finally start working the way it was designed to.

That is why I do this work. Understanding the cause makes healing feel strategic instead of random.

Stop Guessing. Find the Cause.

You do not have to keep pushing through fatigue, brain fog, gut issues, hormone chaos, or symptoms that never seem to make sense.

With the right investigation, the right testing, and a clear strategy, you can finally uncover what is creating the pressure in your body - and start fixing it at the root.

No more band-aids
No more supplement roulette
No more wasted time
Just clarity, strategy, and real answers
